General Tahoe Throttle Policies

All adult passengers must sign our Release and Liability Waiver

All passengers under the age of 18 require a legal guardian to be present during the extent of the rental period and sign our Tahoe Throttle ‘Release and Liability Waiver’ on their behalf.

All rental equipment will be inspected before and after rental return with a Tahoe Throttle employee.

Renters are responsible for damages to the equipment.

Damage insurance is available and recommended, however it only covers accidental damage and will not cover damages due to carelessness or aggressive behavior.

Renter is responsible for all damage, broken parts, repairs and labor costs per Tahoe Throttle’s fee schedule.

Credit cards will be billed at the time of reservation. Payment at the time of the rental can be arranged.

4All rentals will obtain a credit card for damage deposit or sufficient damage deposit arranged with Tahoe Throttle. Deposit amounts per activity are listed on their individual webpage and deposit page.

Tahoe Throttle reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

ALCOHOL and/or DRUGS: No alcohol or drug consumption before or during use and possession of rented equipment, both motorized and non-motorized equipment, including but not limited to ATV/UTV, snowmobiles, jet ski, paddleboard and tubes, flyboards or while operating a motorboat.

No smoking of any kind in and/or on Tahoe Throttle rental equipment, plus, it’s just plain bad for you.

 “No-shows” will be charged the full price and will not be offered a reschedule. Contact us by phone (530) 214-4141 to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.

LATE RETURNS: All rental machines and equipment are to be returned on time or additional fees will be charged.

PETS: No pets are allowed in or on Tahoe Throttle rented machines/equipment, both motorized and non-motorized equipment, including but not limited to ATV/UTV, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, motorboat, jet ski, paddleboard and tubes.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds/rainchecks for early returns, including returns due to weather. Cancellations must be done 72 hours prior to departure for full refund. Refunds will be issued for unfavorable weather changes within 24 hours of departure per the discretion of Tahoe Throttle who finds the weather to be unsafe or unsuitable for chosen activity.

If guest chooses not to participate due to unfavorable but reasonable weather conditions within 24 hours of departure, non- transferable rainchecks will be issued that can be used for a future reservation and are valid for 18 months.
